Lovely 1980 Dulcimer by the Hughes Company Single Heart Sound Hole Traditional Hughes Styling and Construction Excellent Starter instrument

Made Famous by their kit Dulcimers sold Nation wide in the 80’s to Schools and just about any body who wanted to try their hand at the Dulcimer. The Hughes “Factory” made models followed the same patterns and much of the same materials as the kits. They did however have a nicer finish, better construction, and some nicer selections of wood patterns.
This Dulcimer is labeled from the factory, serial numbered and dated From August of 1980. It does have minor wear and use, very nice condition indeed for a 44 year old.
